Aspirations International Academy conducts complementary diagnostic assessments. Even if you have no interested in joining AIA, we are willing to conduct a complementary diagnostic assessment to assess the needs of the student.
Many parents and students have this false idea that tuition is the answer to all their children’s academic problems. In fact, many believe that tuition prevents academic problems. Hence, even before the first year of primary/elementary school, parents send their kids to tuition classes without fully understanding the needs of their children. Tuition isn’t cheap either. Parents are working 2-3 extra jobs just to put food on the table and pay for their children’s educational needs without a full picture of their children’s abilities and needs.
In addition, many mothers and fathers struggle with one big question, “How can I help my child?” A lot of parents want to be actively involved in their children’s academic and personal growth but they do not know how. Hence, they just sign their kids up for whatever class seems good to them, buy endless number of assignment books and control their children’s timetables very tightly, handholding them and sitting down with them to complete homework and to revise for exams.
To dispel these concerns, Aspirations International Academy provides a free diagnostic assessment for parents to asses three things:
- Strengths of the student.
- Areas for Growth
- Whether the child truly needs any form of tuition or academic coaching.
Aspirations International Academy also provides answers to questions that parents frequently ask:
- What can my child do on his/her own? (We provide clear advice on how the student can help himself/herself besides jsut doing practice worksheets and past-year papers.)
- How can I help my child? (We provide clear solutions to parents/guardians on how they can be active in helping their children excel.)
Finally, if the students are recommended for academic coaching with Aspirations International Academy, we will provide a timeline on how long it will take for us to help the child become an independent and competent learner. We will also state, specifically, how we intend to help the student get to that point.
There are 3 phases in our academic coaching programme. Whenever a student signs up for classes with us, we will always take them through these three phases:
Phase 1: Foundation Building
Phase 2: Application & Mastery
Phase 3: Independence & Excellence
